This allows bank customers to gain access to bank services without actually having to visit a physical bank. For example, banks can set up these video banking centers in a grocery store, at a gas station or at some other type of retail outlet. Customers can then utilize the video system to talk to a live bank employee over the video feed. This will allow the bank to use fewer employees and access multiple locations at once.

Extra Hours

Another benefit of this type of system is that individuals can gain access to banking services at hours that a bank would not normally be open. For example, a bank could have one or two employees available 24 hours a day. Individuals could then go to video banking centers at various locations to talk to these employees. This provides extra hours of coverage for the bank and increases the opportunities that it has to interact with customers.


Video banking systems can provide a number of services that one would expect at a normal banking facility. For example, you can deposit cash or checks into your bank account with this system. Many of these systems implement a scanner that will allow you to scan an image of a check and have it deposited into your account. You can also make cash withdrawals at most video banking centers. Many video banking centers also allow you to make transfers from one account to another.
